Demonstration against forced sterilization is Sweden
Hello fellow Tumblrs! If any of you are in Sweden, in or close to Stockholm, please participate in a demonstration on Wednesday!
Oh my, I just realized how difficult this is for me to express in English x__x I’ll try anyway.
As some of you might already know, in Sweden you have to be steril, unmarried and a Swedish citizen to be allowed to change your legal gender. The government has said they’ll change the law, but they’ve (after a very long time) decided to keep the forced sterilizations.
We won’t accept this, so therefore we will protest outside the parliament on January 18th, 8 AM to 10 AM (that’s in the morning, for you who aren’t used to the AM/PM-system). There will be a debate 9 AM so that’s why we are there so early, we want to make sure the politicians see us on their way to work.
